WOLF CREEK TWP, Mercer County — An 89-year-old Franklin woman was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle accident in Mercer County, state police said.

Betty E. Greggs of Franklin was driving west on Route 8010 just before noon when she went through the Route 173 intersection where her car was hit by a vehicle driven by Lorraine E. Ruley, 76 of Grove City, police said.

Greggs’ car rotated about 270 degrees and traveled in reverse about 40 feet before rolling down an embankment, police said. Ruley had a suspected minor injury, but was not taken to a hospital, police said.
