LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Slippery Rock University senior quarterback Roland Rivers III has been named one of eight finalists for the 2019 Harlon Hill Award, presented to the top Division II football player in the country.

Two players from each of the four Super Regions are named finalists. Notre Dame (Ohio) College running back Jaleel McLaughlin is the other finalist from Super Region One.

Rivers ranks first in the nation with 4,449 offensive yards, 44 passing touchdowns and 305 points responsible for.
