Both Butler County Community College basketball teams fell to Jamestown (NY) C.C. on Wednesday.

The women dropped to 1-8 with a 71-57 decision.

Michaella Roth scored 22 points and Casey Kretzer added 14 for the Pioneers.

Kaiden Young’s double-double of 10 assists and 10 rebounds was not enough to help the men’s team in an 85-73 setback.

Jamir Carter paced the Pioneers (2-8) in points with 29. Julian Sanks added 12 points, Jake Slomers 11 and Dom Schmidt 10.
