AMBRIDGE — Ambridge High School boys basketball coach Mark Jula — who led Butler to the 1991 WPIAL championship — has retired after 38 seasons.

Jula had an overall record of 561-373 as a varsity basketball coach with stops at Moon, Butler, North Allegheny, Center and his alma mater, Ambridge.

Jula was 94-70 in seven years at Ambridge — his final coaching stop — including six playoff appearances.
