The Butler County Treasurer’s office reminds residents of Butler City, Callery, Connoquenessing Borough, Valencia and West Sunbury that the final day to pay 2019 county real estate taxes is Dec. 31.

Any guaranteed funds received for tax payments in person or postmarked Dec. 31 will be honored at the full tax amount.

Residents may pay county real estate tax payments in person at the treasurer’s office in the county Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St., between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Cash, check, money order or cashier’s check will be accepted until Dec. 13.

After that date, guaranteed funds only will be accepted in the form of cash, money order or cashier’s check. No personal checks will be accepted after Dec. 13. Mailed certified funds must be postmarked by Dec. 31 and mailed to: Butler County Treasurer, P.O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003-1208.

County real estate taxes received after the last day of the year will be considered delinquent and returned to the sender.
