Arrest warrants issued for trio
Three Butler women are wanted on unrelated arrest warrants each for allegedly selling drugs to a confidential informant in Butler.
Charged with multiple felonies are Athena L. Tompai, 29, Shauna M. Cress, 33, and Holly L. Tweed, 35, all of Butler.
The Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General's Bureau of Narcotics filed the cases against Tompai and Cress, and the Butler County Drug Task Force filed the case against Tweed.
An informant used the Facebook Messenger app to set up two deals with Tompai in June, investigators said. Tompai on June 4 is accused of selling 10 stamp bags of suspected heroin and a small rock of crack cocaine for $200 on McLain Avenue.
On June 12, according to charging documents, she sold suspected crack to the informant for $150 at a parking lot on Monroe Street.Authorities said Cress and an informant by phone calls and texts set up a deal May 24 that led to her selling 10 stamp bags of suspected heroin for $150 at a parking lot on Center Avenue.Tompai and Cress are each charged with felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.Tweed is accused of selling 10 Suboxone strips for $80 at her home on Michael Avenue in a June 5 deal arranged with the informant by way of Facebook Messenger, county drug task force officers said.
She is charged with felony counts of delivery of and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and criminal use of a communication facility, and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.Online court records did not list attorneys for any of the defendants.
