POLICE REPORTS

The following items have been gathered from various police departments:

11:05 p.m. Nov. 26 — Police pulled a vehicle over for not having headlights on and allegedly noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the inside of the car. The car's passenger, Jacob Polzer, 23, of Butler was allegedly found to be in possession of a vaporizing pen that contained suspected marijuana oil. Polzer was charged with possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.1:29 p.m. Nov. 26 — While driving on Route 356 and Point Plaza, Anygail Mason, 18, of Butler failed to stop for a line of cars in front of her and struck a car driven by Anna Wolinski, 23, of Grove City, police said. Wolinski's car then struck the back of a car driven by Alicia Pflugh, 19, of Butler. One minor injury was reported at the scene, but police did not give a name.

9:53 p.m. Nov. 26 — Someone drove a semitruck through the yard of the Faith Community Church in Bruin. Police believe that the criminal mischief was under $1,000.6:45 p.m. Nov. 26 — An escape was reported at the Care Center in Center Township. The facility is a mental health clinic. A request for comment hasn't been returned by police nor the Care Center.8:44 p.m. Nov. 25 — An unnamed 27-year-old man from Allison Park is suspected of driving under the influence after he hit a tree while the car he was in was in neutral.7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 25 — Someone removed four plastic chairs from the back porch of a home on Grant Avenue and put them on the home's garage roof. The victim's garage roof is level with a rear alley. Police don't believe the person who did this used a ladder. The victim is a 78-year-old man.12:35 p.m. Nov. 24 — While driving east on Valvoline Drive, Dawn M. Herrick, 44, of Butler allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting another car at the intersection with Grant Avenue. Herrick's car spun onto Lincoln Avenue, and the other car went into a large ditch and struck the end of a culvert. Herrick and her passenger are believed to have suffered minor injuries. Neither of them were transported. A passenger in the other vehicle was also believed to have suffered minor injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital.1:34 a.m. Nov. 24 — Aaron Pennington, 46, of West Sunbury was charged with driving under the influence after being pulled over for traffic violations.12:00 to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 — A $5,000, 14-foot aluminum boat was stolen from an Oneida Valley Road location. Police listed a 90-year-old woman as the victim of the burglary. The investigation is ongoing.10:33 p.m. Nov. 22 — Brian Dowdy, 22, of Cabot was charged with driving under the influence after he crashed his car into a utility pole on Marwood and Gerner roads in Winfield Township.12:19 a.m. Nov. 22 — Malone Metz, 26, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after being pulled over for numerous traffic violations.9:30 p.m. Aug. 19 — Joshua Mann, 39, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

2:32 p.m. Nov. 27 — Madalyn Condron. 33, and Jessica Terek, 32, both of Butler, were charged with drug possession after police pulled them over for a vehicle code violation. Condron additionally was charged with driving under the influence.5:30 p.m. Nov. 3 — A Chicora couple in their 70s were charged with harassing each other during a domestic violence incident. Police did not identify the couple. The male is 73 years old and the female is 74 years old.
