Ellwood City Medical Center is temporarily closed to emergency and inpatient services.
Patients are asked to find hospital care at UPMC Jameson, Butler Memorial Hospital or Heritage Valley Beaver.
Outpatient services are still available. Contact the center at 724-752-0081.
When seeking information, the Eagle was informed no one was available to comment on the situation until Friday.
