David P. Noullet

David P. Noullet

David P. Noullet, 68, of Butler passed away Oct. 27, 2019, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 1, 1950, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Donald Noullet and the late Geraldine Turner Noullet.

David was a 1968 graduate of Butler High School.

He began his work as a machinist at Hoffman Auto Parts directly out of high school, but left for the U.S. Navy in 1969, where he served as an aviation electrician aboard the USS Constellation in support of the Vietnam War. David left the Navy in 1973, returning to Hoffman Auto Parts.

In 1986, he began to work at ARMCO, now AK Steel, in the maintenance department as a journeyman machinist until his retirement in 2011.

He was a member of Whitestown Road Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Noullet, whom he married on July 16, 1982; three sons, Shamus Young and his wife, Heather, of Butler, Patrick Young of Natrona Heights, and Daniel Noullet of Pittsburgh; one daughter, Ruth Garvey and her husband, Michael, of Bellevue; seven grandchildren, Bay, Peter, Issac, Elliana, Camden, Kiley and Dax; one brother, Douglas Noullet and his wife, Lisa, of Butler; three sisters, Suzanne Mills and her husband, Michael, of Butler, Elaine Miller and her husband, Frank, of Chicora, and Celeste Deets of Venango, Pa.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant granddaughter, Ava Grace Young.

NOULLET — Friends of David P. Noullet, who died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Whitestown Road Baptist Church, 409 Whitestown Road, Butler, with Pastor Bob Hurd of Whitestown Road Baptist Church officiating.Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Geraldine Noullet Scholarship, BC3 Education Foundations Scholarship Fund, P.O.
