EVANS CITY — Donna Groom will present her “Love Letters” show at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St.

“Love Letters” is a nostalgic look at the wartime letters of servicemen and women and their families, accompanied by the music of the era.

Groom, female vocalist in the Skyliners, is the principal artist and creator.

The program explores the heartfelt feelings and emotions of military service, using these very personal letters, highlighted by a backdrop of music and pictures. There will be a freewill offering to benefit St. John's parking lot fund.

Blue Army will have First Saturday Devotions Dec. 7 beginning with an 8 a.m. Mass at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., followed by the rosary.A meeting will take place afterward in the Collins Room with guest speaker the Rev. Radko Blichar from St. John’s Byzantine Church discussing The Blessed Mother.
