The Knoch girls tennis team won the section title and was the WPIAL and PIAA runner-up.

The South Butler County School Board and those attending the Wednesday night board meeting gave a hearty congratulations to sports teams that have garnered much success in recent weeks. Applauded were the Knoch girls varsity tennis team, which earned second place in the state in the AA category. Also recognized were the girls varsity volleyball team which earned the rank of section champs and WPIAL champs before falling to Palmyra High School in the state championship finals. The board also congratulated the girls varsity cross country team, which went 11-0 this year.

The Knoch girls volleyball team won the WPIAL championship for the third consecutive year and fell in the PIAA semifinals to Palmyra.
