Grubbs shines in Thiel defeat
GREENVILLE — Freeport graduate Courtney Grubbs had 19 assists, 16 digs and two aces in the Thiel College women’s volleyball loss to Westminster.
A-C Valley graduate Kylee Eaton had five kills in the 3-0 defeat.
Kuhn Jr. rolls 300 at Mars Lanes
MARS — Ed Kuhn Jr. rolled the first perfect game of the season this week at Mars Lanes.
Kuhn rolled a 722 series with games of 231, 191 and 300. He carries a 189 average.
