SRU basketball falls at Pitt in exhibition
PITTSBURGH — Xavier Johnson scored 17 points while Trey McGowens added 15 points and eight assists Wednesday night as Pitt defeated Slippery Rock University, 98-47, in a men’s basketball exhibition game at the Petersen Events Center.
Will Robinson Jr. led SRU with 14 points while Jared Armstrong netted 12.
The Rock plays another exhibition at Division I Rider at 4 p.m. Saturday.
