GREENVILLE — Freeport graduate Courtney Grubbs tallied 27 assists, four aces and two blocks in helping the Thiel College volleyball team defeat Waynesburg, 3-0, Tuesday night.

The Tomcats improved to 9-5 and host Westminster Oct. 31.

PITTSBURGH — Freeport graduate Brittney Bianco had 20 assists and 14 digs as a setter for Point Park in the Pioneers’ 3-2 women’s volleyball loss to Pitt-Johnstown.The Pioneers are 16-7 overall, 6-3 in conference play.
