The WPIAL released its girls volleyball playoff brackets Monday. Five Butler County teams will be competing in the postseason. They include:

Class 4A

No. 9 Seneca Valley at No. 8 Norwin, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday

Class 3A

No. 16 Woodland Hills at No. 1 Knoch, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday

No. 11 Elizabeth Forward vs. No. 6 Mars, 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shaler

Class 2A

No. 1 North Catholic and No. 2 Freeport will both host a first-round game Thursday.

The Trojanettes will meet the Southmoreland/Burrell winner at 7:30 p.m.

The Yellowjackets will welcome the South Park/Beth-Center winner with a 7:30 p.m. start.
