Ex-SRU back Hills signs with Lions
DETROIT — Former Slippery Rock University running back Wes Hills, who set SRU’s single-season rushing record last season, was signed to the Detroit Lions’ practice squad Wednesday.
Hills signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals during the preseason, but was released at the end of training camp.
