Ava Carney had 15 kills and nine digs Wednesday night as the Butler girls volleyball team defeated Latrobe, 3-0.

Scores in the match were 25-16, 25-22, 25-20. The non-section match marked the Golden Tornado’s fourth win of the season.

Taylor Welter had nine kills, Sophia Lucas nine kills, 18 digs and five aces for Butler, which travels to Hempfield Thursday.

Wilmington 3, Karns City 2 — Mackenzie Dunn had 15 kills and 14 digs for the host Gremlins.

Emma Clark added eight kills and six blocks in the 13-25, 16-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-13 loss to the Greyhounds.

Emily Huff contributed 18 digs, Ashley Fox 26 digs and seven aces and Peyton Turner 20 assists.
