WASHINGTON, Pa. — Butler County horsemen combined to win three of the eight $25,000 title up for grabs Saturday during the Pennsylvania Fairs championships at The Meadiows.

Shawn Johnston of Evans City won two of the titles, with freshman filly pacer Silly But Serious and 2-year-old filly trotter Better Song. Evans City resident Gary Johnston trains Silly But Serious.

Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove freshman colt trotter Stickler Hanover to victory. Steve Schoeffel of Evans City trains the horse.
