FRANKLIN TWP — Butler County Community College golfer Carmen Oliva earned medalist honors with an 80 as the Pioneers competed against Westmoreland CCC recently at Lake Arthur.

No team scores were kept.

Butler graduates Jake Cuny and Jake Slomers carded a 95 and 97, respectively, for the Pioneers.

SR graduate Boyd keys Point Park win

CORAOPOLIS — Slippery Rock High School graduate Bailey Boyd scored the first goal Thursday in Point Park University’s 3-0 women’s soccer victory over IU Kokomo.

Boyd has three goals on the season for the Pioneers. (2-6, 1-0).
