White shines for SV

Junior keys 3-0 volleyball win over Butler

Sarah White contributed 20 assists, nine kills and three blocks in Seneca Valley's 3-0 volleyball win over visiting Butler Tuesday night.

Mandy Altsman added 13 assists and six aces, Emma Davis eight kills and Abby Adams 13 digs.

The Raiders won the match by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-15.

Ava Carney led Butler (2-5, 1-5) with 11 kills and Taylor Welter had six kills.

Freeport 3, Deer Lakes 0 — The Yellowjackets (8-0, 7-0) remained undefeated with this 25-20, 25-23, 25-11 win over the host Lancers.

Isabella Russo had 10 kills, Lauren Lampus seven kills and nine points and Mackensey Jack dropped four kills and had 16 points.

Madeline Clark had a strong match with 27 assists and 14 points.

Moniteau 3, Venango Catholic 0 — Aslyn Pry had nine kills and six aces as the Warriors rolled to a 25-13, 25-16, 25-13 victory.

Logan Barnhart added 16 assists for Moniteau.

Slippery Rock 3, Franklin 0 — The Rockets got seven kills and 20 digs from Lexis Prementine in this 26-24, 25-15, 25-16 win.

Virginia Recchia added 20 assists, 10 digs and 13 service points and Annika Peak pitched in eight kills for the Slippery Rock (3-5).

Keystone 3, Union 1 — Dominika Logue had seven kills and Morgan Cumberland 20 assists in the Damsels' 25-14, 25-14, 16-25, 25-23 loss to Keystone.

Knoch 3, New Castle 0 — Hannah Rowe had 14 kills in the Knights' 25-12, 25-19, 25-9 win.

Kennedy Christy added 14 service points for Knoch (9-0, 7-0).

Clarion 3, A-C Valley 1 — Emily Wetzel had 14 assists and 13 digs in the Falcons' 18-25, 26-25, 7-25, 14-25 loss.

Cranberry 3, Karns City 1 — Cassidy Nolan had 11 kills and two blocks and Emily Huff added eight kills in the Gremlins' 25-15, 26-24, 24-26, 25-14 setback.

Peyton Turner pitched in 22 assists and Ashley Fox 18 digs for Karns City.

Addison Stewart scored the lone goal of the match on a cross from Dan Lynch to lead Freeport to a 1-0 win over Mt.
