Pedestrian struck in Cranberry Township
CRANBERRY TWP - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital by ambulance after being struck while in a crosswalk at the intersection of Commonwealth Drive and Pennwood Place in Cranberry Township. Cranberry Township police, fire and EMS responded.
Traffic from Commonwealth onto Pennwood was momentarily stopped until a tow truck can retrieve the vehicle.
