BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team opens its season Wednesday at CCAC-Boyce.

The Pioneers are coming off a 19-7 season, the 10th consecutive winning campaign under coach Rob Snyder. BC3 is also the defending Western Pa. Collegiate Conference and Region XX champion.

Snyder is 376-148 in 20 seasons as Pioneer coach. His three returning starters are Knoch graduates Abby Kopac and Makenzie McDowell, and Mars graduate Kaylee Ebbert. McDowell was an All-Region XX selection a year ago.
