Billy Makepeace and Jake Szebalskie combined to pitch a no-hitter recently in Butler’s 11-under team’s 1-0 Little League playoff win vs. Titusville.

The pitchers were supported by outstanding catches by outfielders Preston Richter and Colton Hill, along with a game-ending diving play by second baseman Jayce Geibel.

Coltyn Pavlick led off the fifth inning with a single and scored from first base when Nicco Baggetta’s bunt was thrown away.

Butler hosts Titusville at 6 p.m. Friday at the Meridian Little League field.
