Fred and Deborah Vero

Fred M. and Deborah A. Vero of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner June 30.

Vero married the former Deborah A. Hoffman on June 28, 1969, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Kimberly Vero-Lynn of Butler, Erin (Greg) Cioffi of Butler and Drs. Michael and Jodie Vero of Butler.

They also have one grandchild, Clara Vero.

Vero retired from the Pa. House of Representatives. He is currently a Butler Township commissioner.Mrs. Vero retired from Pa. Department of Transportation.She enjoys watching her granddaughter, baking and traveling.The Veros are members of St. Peter Parish.
