Each day I think you are riding your bike or at a ball game and soon you will be home.

We had our own special life together and would not trade it for anything.

There is not much I can say about the sadness that is in my heart and how much I miss you each and every day.

The memories of times we shared together I will never forget.

God saw you getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you

And whispered “Come live with Me.”

With tearful eyes, I watched you suffer,

And saw you fading away.

I loved you dearly,

I could not make you stay.

God will love you and keep you,

Until we meet someday.

May God grant you eternal peace.
