Police in Lawrence County say they found heroin and marijuana products on a Slippery Rock man passed out Wednesday in a car at a gas station.

State Police in the neighboring county were called to a Sheetz station on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township to check on reports of a man passed out behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta with the engine running.

Police found Bernard Selzer, 29, of Slippery Rock and alleged that he was under the influence of a controlled substance. They said they found him carrying 43 stamp bags of what they believed to be heroin. The bags were marked with a label that said “Uber.”

Police said they also found 10 THC vaporized cartridges, 15 packages of THC in an edible form and drug paraphernalia.

Bernard was taken to UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle for a blood test.

According to police, charges are pending and Selzer has been released from police custody.
