A free Outdoor Discovery series at Alameda Park, conducted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, will feature “The History of Butler’s Historic Movie Theaters” by Bill May at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Oddfellows shelter. Moraine State Park will host a free yoga series from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Valley day use area on the South Shore. A program on purple martins will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. June 29 at Pavilion 6 at the McDanels Launch area. An International Mud Day Celebration is planned for noon to 3 p.m. June 29 at Lakeview Beach on the North Shore. And a family fishing program is set for 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 30 at Bear Run on the South Shore.
