The state Department of Transportation announced on Friday that the restrictions will continue until the end of August.
The single lane will begin at the intersection of Route 308 and Byers Road and end at the intersection of Route 308 and Branchton Road, according to PennDOT District 10 officials.
Workers will be milling and patching Route 308, also known as West Sunbury Road, and adding binder overlay as well as upgrading guide rails.
