SARVER — Carl Bowser looked to be well on the way to his first win of the season.

Sye Lynch had other ideas.

Lynch overtook Bowser on the 19th lap and fought off a challenge from AJ Flick to win the Sprint Feature at Lernerville Speedway Friday night.

It was Lynch’s second feature win of the season.

In the Late Model feature, Jared Miley was able to hold off Dan Angellichio for 25 laps, maneuvering his way well through lapped traffic to second the win.

It was Miley’s first victory of the year.

In the Modified Feature, Brian Swartzlander notched his second win of the season by besting front-runners Rex King Jr. and Rex King Sr.

It was Swartzlander’s 97th feature win at Lernerville Speedway.

In the Pro Stock Feature, Joey Zambotti and Joe Kelley battled for much of the race with Zambotti taking the lead for good on the 12th lap.

Racing returns to the Sarver track Tuesday with the School Bus Race night and Trailer Races, Powder Puff Races, the inaugural Dougie Tomson Autism Awareness Race and a demolition derby.

There will also be a 100-lap Enduro race.
