Gina Stewart of New Franklin, Ohio, visited Butler County to attend her first Jeep festival. Stewart drove her 1990 YJ Jeep. The ninth annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival continues through Sunday.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Crowds from across the nation drove into Butler this weekend, ready to roll their four-wheel drive systems over rocky hills and into pits of mud.

The ninth annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival once again provided a messy weekend romp for Jeep lovers. For miles around Cooper's Lake Campground, Jeep vehicles paraded into the festival with cars plastered with stickers saying things like “It's a Jeep thing” or “Keep calm and hold on.”

Hunter Rock of Portersville joined his Boy Scout Troop 806 to raise funds by washing Jeeps at the 2019 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival.
