Friends of Bantam Jeep Association gives back

The Friends of Bantam Jeep Association has been sharing its success by giving back to the Butler community for the past three years.

The friends group has managed the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival since October 2015, and, since then, the association has donated more than $70,000 to more than 40 local nonprofit organizations.

In 2018, the friends group donated $27,000 to 22 Butler County groups.

“It is very important to our members and the board of directors that we share the success of the festival with local nonprofit organizations,” said Todd Wagner, president of the friends group.

“Our 500 volunteers appreciate that their efforts not only benefit the festival, but they help thousands of others throughout Butler County.”

The friends group also gives back to those who help with the festival.

The association has already provided nearly $60,000 to other organizations that have helped with the festival during the past three years. These organizations have assisted with parking, traffic control, Jeep washing stations and more.“The festival wouldn't be possible without our volunteers, sponsors, vendors and attendees,” Wagner said. “We want everyone to know that they are making a real difference to thousands of people in Butler.“It is important for us to be known for our community involvement, and not just for the success of the festival.”The Friends of the Bantam Jeep Association is comprised of more than 50 volunteers who work together to plan and execute the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival. The event attracts more than 2,400 Jeeps to Butler County each June to celebrate Butler as the birthplace of the Jeep.
