20 Jeeps from '80s, trucks added
The Jeep History Exhibit features 20 Jeeps from the 1980s as well as Jeep trucks.
The exhibit has Jeeps from numerous owners as well as several from the impressive collection of the Jeep History Exhibit sponsor, OMIX-ADA.
There are four unique Jeeps traveling with OMIX-ADA this year. One that is not-to-be-missed is the 1982 CJ-7 Fire Truck.
Some of the Jeeps on display include a 1986 CJ-7 Laredo, which was the last of the CJ’s “Great Breed”; a 1983 CJ-8 Scrambler, which was one of 27,792 produced from 1981 to 1986; and a 1980 CJ-7 Golden Eagle that is unrestored and virtually rust free.
Other models in the 2019 Jeeps through the Decades display include:
1988 Comanche
1987 Wrangler YJ
1982 CJ-7
1982 Cherokee Chief
1984 J-10 Pioneer
The festival is also expanding the Faces of Jeep grille exhibit with the 1980s Jeep grilles. The display demonstrates how the famous Jeep grille has evolved over the years.
The exhibit opens at 10 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
