Three Butler County teams will be involved in the PIAA baseball and softball playoffs, which begin Monday.

In Class 3A baseball action, Freeport will take on District 10 champion Franklin at 4 p.m. at Slippery Rock University's Critchfield Park.

In Class 2A, District 9 champion Moniteau will meet Serra Catholic at 3:30 p.m. at Showers Field in DuBois.

The Class 4A softball bracket has Knoch facing District 10 champ Grove City at 4:30 p.m. at Slippery Rock University.
