These items have been collected from various police departments.

Friday — Charleen R. McConnell, 28, of Butler Township was charged with having crack cocaine and other drug contraband following a traffic stop around 12:05 a.m. on West New Castle Street near Seventh Avenue.

McConnell, who was a rear seat passenger, was allegedly found with a plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine during an inventory search of the vehicle. Police said they noticed the bag was sticking out of a purse belonging to her, according to court documents.

A search of the purse turned up a piece of tin foil with suspected crack, a crack pipe and Chore Boy copper scrubber, documents said.

McConnell is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

10:49 p.m. Tuesday — Linda Martin, 67, of Butler was injured when the car she was driving struck another vehicle on Route 68 while attempting to turn onto North Eberhart Road.Martin was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The other driver, Catherine Lalonde, 58, of Harmony, refused medical treatment, according to a police report. Both vehicles had to be towed.6:04 p.m. May 16 — One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck at North Duffy Road and Westbrook Drive. The crash occurred when a vehicle driven by Debra Fleeger, 52, of Butler turned and collided with a vehicle driven by Leah Frederick, 58, of Butler.Fleeger was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Frederick was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.4:46 p.m. May 16 — Darrell Hays, 65, of Butler was apparently injured when the vehicle he was driving was rear-ended by another vehicle on the Route 422 on-ramp. Hays refused an ambulance, but went to the hospital by private vehicle.The other driver, Lisa Steiner, 46, of Chicora, was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.

May 3 — Treh W. Gillott, 22, of Center Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop last month in Center Township. Police said he was pulled over around 12:25 a.m. April 19 for several traffic violations on North Benbrook Road.Gillott apparently admitted that he had consumed alcohol earlier, according to court documents, but claimed it was “not very much.” He was arrested for driving under the influence after allegedly failing field sobriety tests.Police took him to the barracks for a breath test, which allegedly showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.094 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.In addition to DUI, Gillott is charged with failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, following too closely to another vehicle, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.

Sunday — An unknown burglar broke into a house in Slippery Rock Township in Lawrence County. The break-in occurred between May 16 and Sunday.The suspect apparently got into the home on Hogue Road through a side window, according to a police report. The garage was also entered after glass was broken on the main door.Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-598-2211.
