CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Artists Network is sponsoring a Martinis with Monet Art Expo July 10 to Aug. 19 at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road.
The open show, meaning artists do not need to belong to the network, benefits the Cranberry Township Community Chest and helps kick off Cranberry Township Community Days.
The juror for this year's event is Kimberly Koller-Jones, executive director/CEO at the Hoyt Center for the Arts in New Castle.
The exhibition's grand opening is 7 p.m. July 10, when awards will be announced.

PITTSBURGH — The Sen. John Heinz History Center will offer free admission to veterans and active military Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the Memorial Day weekend.The center is the site of “The Vietnam War: 1945-1975” exhibition.The exhibit uses photography, artifacts and more than 20 audio/visual displays to tell the personal stories of those who were impacted by the war, from the homefront to the front lines.Visitors can peer into the cockpit of the exhibit's largest and most iconic artifact: a “Huey” helicopter used by the U.S. Army from 1967-1970.A Memorial Day flag folding will take place at noon Monday.For more information, visit HeinzHistoryCenter.org.

Pittsburgh — The National Avery presents "Living Dinosaurs" Saturday through Sept. 29, showcasing birds as the living descendants of dinosaurs.
