Butler County Historical Society presents the “Echoes from Our Past Historic Cemetery Walk,” featuring six actors portraying people from the area's past, at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the grounds of the North Side Cemetery, 1002 N. Main St. Tickets are $14 for adults and $10 for students ages 10 to 21. Visit the society office at the Sen. Walter Lowrie House, 123 W. Portersville Steam Show hosts its Spring Gas-Up on Saturday and Sunday at the steam show grounds, 1512 Perry Highway. The gates will open at 9 a.m. both days, and the bluegrass band Bits 'n Pieces will play at 4 p.m. Saturday. Attractions include antique cars, crafts, steam engines and saw milling. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 11 and younger.

Children's Museum, Allegheny Square, will open “Very Eric Carle” May 25. Museum Lab is a new exhibit for children age 10 and older that includes Studio Lab, Make Lab and Tech Lab. The museum will be closed Memorial Day. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children ages 2 to 18 and senior citizens.
