Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, Fenelton, will host a 6:30 p.m. Sunday contemporary evening service including Craigsville United Methodist Church and McKee Chapel United Methodist Church. Butler Church of the Nazarene

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, hosts a revival service at 7 p.m. Friday with guest evangelist the Rev. Vince Cuda, founder of My Refuge Christian Center.

Gwen Atkinson will provide the music for the Sunday morning worship service.

Christ Community UNITED METHODIST

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will take the Red Church offering to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Organization at both Sunday worship services

Mother’s Day blanket donations will be dedicated Sunday.

There will be no youth meeting Sunday.

The Men’s Breakfast is 8 a.m. Monday at Kings Restaurant, 191 New Castle Road.

The First English Lutheran Church community dinner work team will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, and the Gals book club meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Love home.

The finance committee will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The Wednesday Men’s Fellowship Group meets at 6:30 a.m. at Eat’n Park, 214 New Castle Road, and Quilters meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The church book club meets at 10 a.m. May 16.

FAITH UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

At Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 North Main Street, the deacons will distribute chocolate flowers to the ladies in attendance during Sunday’s worship service.

During the week, the AA Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. WW will meet at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. May 16 and 8:30 a.m. May 18.

First Baptist

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will participate in a women’s spring retreat at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp at 6:30 p.m. Friday. For information, call the church at 724-287-7241.

Sunday’s service schedule begins with 9:45 a.m. Sunday school followed by an 11 a.m. worship service, a luncheon and a 1:15 p.m. worship service.

First English Lutheran

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., has the CAMP Blast at Lutherlyn Saturday.

The ushers and counters will attend meetings for organization purposes and reviewing of procedures at 9 a.m. Sunday.

Sunday school is at 9:10 a.m. followed by the 10 a.m. Mother’s Day Sunday worship service.

The congregation council meets on at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., opens Grace’s Closet, a free clothing bank, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Worship with Holy Communion is at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Graceway

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Sherry Ellenberger and MaryAnn Mahan will be providing the music at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

Hill UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., begins a three-week adult class “Presbyterianism 101” led by the Rev. Leigh Benish beginning Sunday in the Hall Lounge.

Volunteers are needed to prepare community lunches at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall.

Donations of infant clothing including blankets, quilts, and layette items should be placed in the crib located in the overflow area on May 12 and 19.

The food request for May is cereal.

Intersection

Intersection Community Church, 120 Brugh Ave., will have a men’s breakfast at 8:30 a.m. May 18 at Mac’s Route 8 cafe, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

mars UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave. will give flowers to the women of the church during Sunday’s 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services in honor of Mother’s Day.

The final Griefshare spring session is 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The worship/membership committee meets at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

ORCHARD HILL BUTLER COUNTY

Orchard Hill Butler County will have a Mother’s Day service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at 107 Staley Ave. Flowers will be given to all the moms.

St. Luke’s Lutheran

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will celebrate Holy Communion at the 8:15 a.m. Sunday worship service.

St. Luke’s Flower Shop will be open Sunday morning. Sunday school children will have time to shop during Sunday school for foil-wrapped potted plants. Mother’s Day hanging basket orders may be picked up Sunday.

Food bank volunteers meet at 6 p.m. Monday, and church council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Trinity Lutheran

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will have blood-pressure screenings this weekend.

Youth Bible study will meet at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at Cummings on Main Street.

There will be a seminar on tick awareness at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Holden evening prayer is at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Ladies quilting meets at 1 p.m. May 16. The property committee meets at 7 p.m. May 16.

valencia presbyTERIAN

The quilting group of Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., meets from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11. Take a lunch and quilting project.

The deacons will host a tropical themed Ladies’ Day luncheon at 11:30 a.m. May 18. Reservations are due Sunday.
