Cubs boxer Mowry loses at nationals
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Butler Cubs boxer Brian Mowry lost by majority decision Tuesday night in the open heavyweight division at the National Golden Gloves.
Mowry lost 4-1 on the judges’ cards to James Evans Jr. of Toledo, Ohio, to slip to 13-4 as an amateur boxer.
