Cranberry Men's Chorus will “Sing, Sing, Sing!” for its concert for 6:30 p.m. Saturday at North Catholic High School, Cranberry Township. The group, known as The Bogmeisters, will perform along with the Jazz Conspiracy, Tickety-Boo Trio and chapter quartets. Selections from the big band era are planned. Opus I Music Society of the National Federation of Music Clubs will celebrate National Music Week with a recital at 2 p.m. Sunday at LifePointe Alliance Church, Route 228 in Adams Township. Taking part will be numerous students of club members as well as this year's scholarship recipient, pianist Caleb Hixon, and vocalist Reagan Curry who is receiving the Outstanding High School Senior award. Admission is free with a reception afterwards.
The Jazz Cabaret on Wednesday will feature Dane Vannatter and his ensemble, musicians Daniel May on keyboard, Tony DePaolis on bass, and Thomas Wendt on drums. Songs will include “Pick Yourself Up,” “On the Sunny Side of the Street,” “Young at Heart,” “How High the Moon” and “The Way You Look Tonight.” The evening will begin at 7 p.m. at Conley's, 740 Pittsburgh Road, Penn Township.
