[naviga:h3]Cranberry Township Police Department[/naviga:h3]
7:30 p.m. Friday — Gustav M. Just, 36, of Wexford was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, not using turn signals and speeding.
Just was traveling 57 mph in a 40 mile-per-hour zone, according to a criminal complaint. He allegedly drove impaired along much of Route 228 in Cranberry Township.
When pulled over, the police complaint states, Just had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and was unsteady upon standing. He refused a blood test, but a police report states that he demonstrated various other signs of impairment. He has two previous DUI convictions.
11:30 p.m. Saturday — John T. March, 45, of Flint, Mich., is charged with simple assault and harassment after allegedly punching a woman repeatedly at the Red Roof Inn on Route 19 in Cranberry Township.
A criminal complaint states that March and the woman had been drinking vodka together and began arguing, the woman told police. He allegedly punched her several times in the face and kicked her in the head. The woman allegedly responded with bites and scratches, police said. Police responded to the scene, where they confronted both parties.
[naviga:h3]State Police Butler[/naviga:h3]
Saturday — Andrew C. Fink, 29, of Butler is charged with aggravated assault, theft, credit card fraud, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of an automobile and driving on a suspended license.
A woman told police that Fink had stolen two of her credit cards and withdrew $300 in cash. Her Dodge truck was missing, she told police, and suspected that Fink had taken it.
She found Fink in Butler and questioned him, and he allegedly threw the cards at her and drove away. She followed in another car to Eyth Road in Oakland Township.
Fink, she told police, responded by backing into her vehicle several times, pushing it into a hedge and railing.
8:30 p.m. April 4 — Michelle M. Osselborn, 38, of Butler allegedly punched a state trooper in the eye in while waiting to take a psych evaluation at Butler Memorial Hospital. The punch broke the trooper’s glasses, according to a police criminal complaint. She apparently became irate while waiting for medical forms.
Osselborn is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment.
