April 12 — Thomas J. Nagy, 26, of Butler was charged with stealing three medical marijuana cartridges while visiting a friend last month on the 200 block of West Brady Street.

Nagy is accused of taking the legal marijuana, valued at $16, on March 15 when he was at the victim’s house. He is charged with theft.

2:33 a.m. April 13 — Derrick L. Kerr, 22, of Hilliard was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence at Hindman Road near New Castle Road in Butler Township. Police said he was pulled over after nearly hitting a Jersey barrier on Route 422.

Kerr admitted to drinking “more beers than he should have,” according to court documents, and a breath test later showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.131 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.

He is charged with DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle, unauthorized use of vehicle registration, failing to sign his registration card, failing to use turn signals, careless driving, and not wearing a seat belt.
