Mendelssohn Choir slates 'Victoria' show to mark anniversary
PITTSBURGH — This year marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Queen Victoria, and the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh plans to celebrate her life in a concert called “Victoria’s Secret: A Life in Music” in May.
Butler County members of the Mendelssohn Choir include Earle Ashbridge, Norrie Bastedo, Holly Furman, Deanna Golden, Edward Jaicks, Liana D. Alksinite Lloyd, Amanda Nelson and Matthew Soroka.
“Victoria’s Secret: A Life in Music” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. May 18 at East Liberty Presbyterian Church in East Liberty, and at 3 p.m. May 19 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper Saint Clair.
