SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University’s women’s lacrosse team scored twice in the final seven minutes to defeat Lock Haven, 14-13, Tuesday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium.

Molly Beuttner scored the game-winning goal with 2:14 remaining. Another freshman, Emily Benham, scored the tying goal with 6:14 to play.

Sami Gentzler scored three goals for SRU (2-3, 1-1). Buettner and Hayley Pimentel scored two goals each.

The Rock hosts Kutztown at 1 p.m. Saturday.
