The Butler Valley Dawgs Squirt 1 hockey team won the top division championship of the Jamestown Mid-Winter Classic over the weekend.

The Dawgs outscored their opponents 23-0, shutting out the Crawford County Flames 9-0, Jamestown Lakers 8-0, Geauga Maple Leafs 5-0 and 1-0.

Team members include Xavier Bossola, Nolan Cranmer, Ethan DaSilva, Trent Gordon, goalie Adam Goul, Seamus Griffith, Evan Mikan, Keaton Minnick, Matthew Muldoon, Coltyn Povlick, Jase Renwick, Cooper Stevens and Blake Toback.

Jeff DaSilva is the Dawgs’ head coach, assisted by Neil Bossola and Gary Renwick.
