Feb. 6, 10:09 p.m. — Victoria L. Hortert, 18, of Butler rolled her vehicle after swerving to avoid a deer while driving south on Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township. Hortert suffered minor injuries, and her vehicle had “disabling damage,” according to the report.

Feb. 4, 8:45 p.m. — Marissa L. Waldroup, 23, of Fenelton drove into a ditch while traveling north on Clearfield Road in Clearfield Township. She was uninjured, police said.

Feb. 1, 8:45 a.m. — Dillon J. Hershelman, 24, of Saegertown was cited for speeding after losing control of his vehicle on the southbound side of I-79 in Harmony Borough. His vehicle struck a concrete barrier. Hershelman was uninjured, but his vehicle was damaged, police said.

Feb. 6, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. — Troopers are asking for the public’s help in finding the individual who fired a gun from a moving vehicle.

A .22 caliber bullet struck the passenger door of a vehicle parked in a driveway on Pleasant View Drive and traveled through the car to the driver’s side door.

The bullet hit the metal sheeting on the door and fell to the bottom of the door cavity, according to police reports.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Kittanning-based state police at 724-543-2011.
