Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is displaying “Meissen Treasures,” a temporary exhibit of 13 seldom-seen German Meissen porcelain pieces, through early spring. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children under 8 accompanied by an adult. PITTSBURGH

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., has opened “A Great Day for Hockey,” showcasing artifacts from all five Penguins Stanley Cup teams. In recognition of Black History Month, the center’s African American Program will present programs in February. “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission” which explores the space race, continues through Feb. 18. Center hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens, and $9 for children 6 to 17. Military receive $2 off admission. Call 412-454-6000.

National Aviary, 700 Arch St., presents its new Andean Mountain Habitat featuring Andean Cock-of-the-rock and Capuchinbirds, species noted for their plumage and courtship displays. Talks in front of the habitat begin at noon daily. Eagle talks are 11:30 a.m. daily. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $17 for adults and $16 for senior citizens and children 2 to 12. Carnegie Science Center, North Side, will present “Da Vinci The Exhibition,” highlighting the achievements of Leonardo da Vinci Feb. 16 through April 9. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens and $11.95 for children. Call 412-237-3400.

Fort Pitt Museum, Point State Park, is to reopen Saturday after maintenance and updates. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, $2 off admission for military, and $4.50 for children 6-17. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call 412-454-6415.
