Brayden Povlick scored a hat trick as the Butler Middle School hockey team improved to 9-0-2 with a recent 9-1 win over North Catholic.

Aaron Shoup had two goals and an assist, Mathew Codispot a goal and assist. Tullio DiDomenico, Andrew Roskovski and Rowan Musko also scored for the Golden Tornado.

Jack Johnson had two assists, Cullen Miller, Jaxon Salata, Landon Romett, Nathan Querry, Ron Kuczynski and Owen Denny all getting one each. E.J. Delaney picked up the win in goal.

Butler plays West Allegheny at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Belmont Complex.
