A drug overdose is suspected in the death Monday of a Butler woman.

Butler city police responded to 218 W. Brady St. at 2:45 p.m. Monday where they found the resident, Chantee Nee, 30, deceased from an apparent drug overdose, police Chief Bob O’Neill said in a news release.

Four days earlier, police had helped medics revive Nee by the use of Narcan when she was found unresponsive, O’Neill said.

The coroner responded Monday to the residence to assist with Nee. The death investigation is still ongoing, police said.
