The Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars will host a domestic violence awareness workshop next month.

The church, located at 200 Union Church Road in Mars, will hold the workshop at 7 p.m. on Feb. 11 in cooperation with the Victim Outreach Intervention Center of Butler County.

Topics that will be covered during the event include how violence enters a relationship, a definition of the cycle of violence, how to help those who are victims of domestic abuse and which local services are available for victims.
