Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., displays “Meissen Treasures,” a temporary exhibit of 13 seldom-seen German Meissen porcelain pieces, through early spring. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., hosts the seventh annual NFL PLAY 60 Training Camp for youths from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. As part of the event, admission to the museum is free for those 17 and younger, courtesy of Dick’s Sporting Goods. The exhibition “A Great Day for Hockey” opens Saturday, showcasing artifacts from all five Stanley Cup teams. In recognition of Black History Month, the African American Program will have presentations throughout February. Continuing is the exhibit “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission” through Feb. 18. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $18 for adults, $15 for senior citizens, and $9 for children 6 to 17. Military receive $2 off admission. Call 412-454-6000.
National Aviary, 700 Arch St., presents its new Andean Mountain Habitat featuring Andean Cock-of-the-rock and Capuchinbirds, species noted for their plumage and courtship displays. Talks in front of the habitat begin at noon daily. Eagle Talks are at 11:30 a.m. daily.
